Leclerc Influencer
With its sleek design, auto-fold and cabin approved dimensions the Leclerc Influencer is an excellent choice for travelers. Its folded (and unfolded) size is 47cm which is slightly larger than the IATA standard of 45cm. However, it still complies with the airline's hand luggage regulations and can be stored in overhead lockers on flights (Subject to Airline approval). It was easy to clean with a cloth and there were plenty of other items like nappy nappy, footmuffs and buggie bags that clip onto handles, and hoods with UV50+ protection.
It's easy to move up and down stairs, and it can fit into tight spaces like narrow alleyways, shops and Jane's terrace home. The bumper bar also functions as an handle. There's also a huge brake that's flip-flop-compatible and has a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than other models, but it will still accommodate a large changing bag. There are also tray for storing snacks, drinks and toys.
It is suitable for babies from birth. There are adaptors available to be used in conjunction with the Leclerc Baby Carrycot. The innovative backrest can be folded down to make it ideal for naps or long walks. The 5-point harness with magnets makes it easy to use. It's also extremely lightweight at only 6.6kg and comes with the travel bag.
Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie is on a mission to "share the joy of new parents" by creating pushchairs which are "functional, stylish and innovative". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to accommodate two children at a time in contrast to the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also offers stadium seating that lets both children see the world at once.
At just over 10kg, the Evalite Duo is one of the tiniest strollers for siblings on the market. It is suitable for use from the time of birth and can be used in conjunction with a Joie car seat or carrycots. It's simple to fold or lift, drive, and ride. The frame's clever design expands to accommodate the second child seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding design is an outstanding feature. They were awed by the speed and ease with which the Evalite Duo comes together. They did notice that it was more difficult to navigate rough surfaces and bumps as compared to other models.
They also mention that the front seat doesn't fully recline, and they needed to utilize their hands to bring it down which they don't want to be forced to do while traveling with children. However, they believe that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that could be perfect with a few tweaks. They love the compact size when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach, a sophisticated tandem buggy, gives parents the variety they need. It is compatible with a variety of car seats and folds up easily with a single click. It also comes with a variety of extras that rival brands are charging separately for, such as rain covers and liners.
iCandy's Peach pushchair is a favored choice for parents who want to be fashionable due to its modern and stylish premium jersey fabrics. The 2022 model of the Peach has undergone a series of minor adjustments that enhance performance and functionality without sacrificing style.
The inclusion of a ride-on board makes this the perfect option for twins. It's also slightly smaller than the previous Peach models but that doesn't mean it from providing all the space you could require for your child.
It's a perfect double stroller for parents who want something that looks great and offers plenty of flexibility. You can use it from birth as a single to double stroller stroller and then purchase a double kit to allow it to be a twin buggy. It comes with a large basket as well as five recline positions to provide the best comfort for your child. It also has an integrated carry strap and a single-handed folding mechanism. The only drawback is that it could be somewhat heavy to store when not in use particularly since it folds into two parts instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is among the best lightweight double stroller twin buggies available. The seats are able to be fitted with liners and footmuffs to keep your children warm during cold winter months. The carrycot is easy to attach with the gate-opening side flaps. It is spacious and comfortable. Orange chassis allows for 30 combinations of the seat and carrycot.
The wheels are optimised to withstand rough and paved terrain, and there's an enormous shopping basket underneath which is ideal for big shopping trips at the supermarket. The pushchair is light and easy to drive. The rounded pedal brake makes it easy to use, but not for flip-flops. It's not easy to fold and the latch that holds it folded requires two hands to unlock. Once it's collapsed the front wheels fold into the basket and the chassis is free to stand.
The Orange is a great choice for style-conscious parents who have an infant or toddler and need a buggy that will be able to grow with them. It's also a great option for parents expecting a second child in the not-too-distant future and want a movable double pushchair. The iCandy Orange may not be cheap but its versatility could make it last a long time and boost its resale value. It can also be fitted with a buggy board which will reduce the number of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Established by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first pram brand that focuses on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim, able to fit through the doorways and move easily around tight shopping aisles. It is among the most compact, full-featured double buggies in the market and has won numerous awards including the 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.
The seats are narrow enough to allow children of different ages sit comfortably together. They are also independently reclined so that children can pick their preferred seating position. The large canopy has flick-out sun visors, and the storage basket is spacious. It accepts two infant car seats when you buy of adapters for car seats and works with nearly all brands that are available, which is a huge benefit.
The only downside is the weight. It is hefty at 32.4 lbs and may be difficult to lift out and into of the trunk for Grandma. And, it is more expensive than most other side-by-side double buggies. But, it's built to last and comes with numerous features for the money. It's a great option for urban parents who don't want to lug around a bulky stroller. The padding of the harnesses and the 5-point buckle make it safe for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a stylish and functional design. It's a great product, but it's not without flaws.
It's got very little in the way of additional conveniences for the children and parents. There's a tiny side bin in the seat that can only be used when one seat is attached - and that's the only thing it offers. There are no cup holders, parent tray or accessory pockets. This could be a problem for long journeys.
The seats aren't able to recline to a very flat position, and the space between them is quite large which is why our 5-year-old had trouble lying back with ease. It's unfortunate given that this is a luxury vehicle.
On the positive side, it's easy to maneuver and the swivel wheels are great in climbing the steps and slopes. It's also small double buggy enough to fit through most doorways, and it folds easily for easy storage and transport. Plus, it can be converted back to mono mode in just three clicks if you require more space or need to get away. It can even accommodate a third child with the comfort wheeled board if you're in need of. If you're budget-conscious there are alternatives that are less expensive. If you're a fan of the brand and can afford it, it's worth the cost.
