Assault Rifles are an excellent choice for Operators, as they’re highly effective at shredding zombies at mid-range. With the right optics and handling attachments, they can also perform well for long-range targets.
While their rate of fire isn’t as high as SMGs, Assault Rifles make up for it with significantly higher damage output.
