The Dark Flare is a Field Upgrade in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies.

Dark Flare Effects And How To Use

Upon activating the Dark Flare Field Upgrade, your operator fires a powerful energy beam from specialized equipment that deals massive shadow damage, piercing through all zombies in its path.

To use the Dark Flare Field Upgrade, you will need to unlock it first by reaching level 20 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies.

The Dark Flare Field Upgrade enters into a cooldown state after a single use. It recharges over time and killing zombies increases the speed.

All Dark Flare Augments

Augments improve the effects and damage of Dark Flare Field Upgrade.

Similar to the Perk-A-Colas, and Ammo Mods, there are six Augments to research for Dark Flare. However, only one Major and one Minor Augment can be equipped at a time.

Major Augments

  • Supernova: Replaces the beam with a moving sphere that damages nearby enemies as it travels. The sphere detonates at the end of Dark Flare’s duration.
  • Extension: Significantly increases the duration of Dark Flare.
  • Dark Pact: The beam can now heal and revive players on contact.

Minor Augments

  • Heavy Shadow: Slows enemies on contact with the beam.
  • Broad Beam: Increases the beam’s size significantly.
  • Extra Charge: Adds one additional max charge.
